Vtg Halloween Lot Beistle winged Witch Dennison JOL cat diecut Rosen lollipop ++
A wonderful collection of MOSTLY pre-World War 11 die cuts! ALL (except the newer Haunted House) are plain cardboard on the back. Rosen lollipop holder, girl, unused, some creasing, as shown, no tears. Tiny plastic cake decoration may also be Rosen (I'm not sure) JOL head man in black and orange, about 1.
Unused, unwaxed OLD paper plate (cardboard) with owl decoration, 8. Large un-embossed Dennison's JOL (unmarked) about 1940, small scuff, a bit missing from the top near the hole where it was used. Use close up on the photo, 11 tall. Smaller unembossed Dennison's JOL with owl from about the 1940's also (possibly 50's), 6-1/2 wide.
Smaller cut out JOL, unmarked, perhaps 1940's, part of a pack of 10 party decoration cut-outs from that era. One skeleton, also smaller, unmarked, trimmed with green line, Beistle, 4 minty condition. Unmarked (probably Beistle MAYBE Dennison's) die cuts of black cats. Envelope originally held 10 cats, there are only 8, all in excellent unused condition. Envelope is torn at seams at back.
Tally Card with JOL, yellow and black cord, unused marked HT 915-2 Made in U. Two black cat die cut party cut-outs, one is very nice, the other has some creasing. Halloween Party invitation, Hallmark, Inc, 49HI 1-2 unused, newer, exact age unknown, but it has embossed lettering JOL and spider. Black and orange honeycomb ball is OLD.
A small tear at one bit, but still cute and usable. Winged (tissue paper) Witch die-cut, marked Made in U.
(probably Beistle) 7-1/2 tall, a small tear at one winged arm, still nice. Haunted House is colored on BOTH sides, so it is newer, but loved by newer collector's. Unmarked, shiny on one side, dull on the other. House with bats, owls, ghosts, skeleton and JOL 13 tall.
1920's Beistle cat on Jack O' Lantern JOL, with "easel" backing can be found on page 249 of Mark Ledenback's collector's guide. This is the EXACT same cat. I bought it from Mark years ago after he used it to illustrate his price guide. Note the crease on the cat, Mark did that accidently when he opened the item. It has since developed slight ear creases.
