1920's Rare Halloween Owl Light Shade by C. A. Reed Co

  

This is a very rare, hard to find collection piece that I have not been able to find it in any of the Halloween Collection Books. This is a very interesting and unusual display piece. It is used as a shade in a typical C7 candle light plastic holder by placing the candle light holder base on a shelf or table. I have not found the candle light plastic holder but they are readily available in contemporary Christmas and Halloween decorations.

All I have is the old Halloween Owl Shade. When it is used for mounting a light bulb, it creates a very unique lighting scene in your Halloween displays. It is in good condition for its age but does show some signs of wear and some staining as seen in the pictures. For being well over 90 years old, it is a beautiful collection piece. This is a wonderful antique that will add a great value to your antique Halloween displays.
