1910's German Halloween Pumpkin Head with Witch Hat Candy Container. This 1910's German Halloween Pumpkin Head Candy Container has been in my personal Halloween Collection for over 30 years. This is a fun antique collection piece that I have always liked as it makes a fun addition to antique table displays. It measures 7 1/2 inches tall by 2 1/2 inches wide; Marked Germany on the back of the head as seen in the pictures.
The head comes off and the body can be filled with candy. It is in good condition for its age for being over 100 years old as it has been in storage for many decades.
It does show some wear as seen in the pictures. This pumpkin with with hat as a lot of antique character. The bottom base is not perfectly flat so the item does not stand perfectly straight up but it does look like some type of adhesive was used for the item to stand correctly in displays.
